I have four new cards joining the rest of the range today. Two are specifically for Nanna's and one is for Dad's who sew, the other is suitable for dads but not actually exclusively for the guys. Let's take a look, shall we?
The first is this pastel version of my Sew Awesome Mum card with a little vintage feel especially for Nan. I lost my Nanna to a stroke when I was 13 but I know that she would have loved receiving this for her birthday, or on mothers day or just with a little note inside as a thank you letter for having me to stay in the summer holidays.
This card was in my sketchbook for ages and I am so happy I have finally made it into a card. One of my favourite memories as a kid was looking in my grandma's button tin when we went to visit so I just had to make a card that included her button tin.
Dads sew too right! I have always loved seeing guys on the Sewing Bee talking about making clothes for their family and friends, so this one is for you! Obviously, it would be great for Fathers Day in June but it would also work for birthdays and other occasions.
The last one for today is also something that has been in my sketchbook for ages, a tooled up sewing machine! I was going to make this a Fathers Day card but power tools are not just for the guys, am I right!
I hope you like these new additions to my collection of sewing themed greetings cards. Don't forget to check out the rest over on the website now.
