How do I buy an item?

my website is set up with Shopify to give you the best possible shopping experience.

Before you make an order, you will need to browse or search for the item you are looking for. You can use the search box or the easy to navigate shop categories. If you are struggling to find what you are looking for please email me at hello@samanthaclaridge.com for help.

To see a product description, click on the item to view the relevant details. When you have made your choice please add the products you would like to your basket.

I forgot to add items to my order, can you add them?

I cannot always add items to an order if your order has already been processed. However, if you contact me within 24 hours of placing your order, if your order has not yet been processed I may be able to add items to your order for you and waive the postage charge.

I ordered the wrong product or an item was not as I expected, can I exchange/return?

I currently issue a 28 day no quibble return policy from the date that you receive your order, provided that the goods are returned in a saleable condition with any original packaging. This is in line with The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.

If you are unhappy with your goods in any way, you can return them for a full refund, providing they are in a saleable condition with any original packaging, within 14 days of receipt.

Fabrics, trims and yarns cannot be returned once they have been used or cut into so please check for any faults or decide if you wish to keep the item or not before cutting into or starting to use the items.

Can I change my address once my order’s gone through?

Unfortunately this is not usually possible as I try to process orders as quickly as I can, but please email me and I will do my best to help. 

Can I use a different delivery address to my billing address?

Yes, please just add these details at checkout.

Can I cancel my order?

Unfortunately this is not usually possible as I try to process orders as quickly as I can, but please email me and I will do my best to help, and if your order has not yet been processed it may be possible to cancel. If your order has already been processed, please follow the usual returns procedure.

What types of payment do you accept?

I accept payment via paypal and all major credit/debit cards.

How do I know ordering with you is safe?

I take the security of personal customer information and payment details very seriously. All of your personal details can only be accessed by me so that I can process your orders. I promise to protect your privacy. I will only use the information that I collect lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. I collect information about you when you place your order so that I can process your orders quickly, efficiently and provide you with the best possible service. I do not make unsolicited telephone calls, send post or email you unless requested, nor do I pass your details on to any third parties without your written consent except any legal authority who may have the rights under UK law to demand information. At all times you have the opportunity to opt out of future mailings.

How can I check an item is in stock?

If an item is out of stock it will not show as being available on the site or will be shown as unavailable. If you would like to check your item is in stock before placing an order please contact me and I will be more than happy to help you.

What are your opening hours?

Orders can be made via the website 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For emails I only check them Monday - Saturday 9am - 5pm and try to reply within 48 hours. 

I would rather talk to someone when I place my order. Can I do this?

At the moment I am unable to take orders or payments over the phone.

Do you have a catalogue?

I have a wholesale catalogue which is available to businesses wishing to stock my products in their stores. Get in touch via email if you are interested in a copy. Please sign up to my newsletter or follow me on Instagram and Facebook to keep up to date on my latest offers and much, much more!

Fabrics

I've ordered for example 5 metres of fabric, will this be sent in one piece?

Yes! All fabrics cut off the roll will always be sent out in one length wherever possible. 

If you are purchasing end of roll pieces or remnants, these come in the sizes stated and therefore cannot be joined into one piece!

Will my fabric come rolled or folded?

All of the fabrics will be sent folded with care wrapped in acid-free tissue paper and packaged for shipping. 

Are your fabrics pre-shrunk?

Unless otherwise stated you should assume that fabrics are not pre-shrunk and treat them prior to use accordingly.

If I order fabric now will it be available in 6 months time?

The fabrics I choose to stock will be available in limited quantities and will only be available whilst stocks last. 


What is the Scale of your images?

Some of my fabrics are photographed with a ruler or my hand in the shot to show scale in the images to help you in choosing your fabrics. If in doubt, please get in touch for samples.
